Flomena Asekol - October Female Athlete of the Month

Flomena Asekol has been selected as the October 2019 Female Athlete of the Month for NMJC Thunderbird Athletics!  Flomena is a freshman from Kapenguria, Kenya and a graduate of Singore Girls HS.  Flomena has won all 6 events she has competed in this fall for the Thunderbirds with her season best time being posted at 17:18. Ms. Asekol won the WJCAC and Region 5 Championship two weeks ago in Snyder, TX.   This weekend, Flomena will place her perfect record on the line and compete for an NJCAA National Championship as the team travels to Albuquerque, NM to compete in the National Cross Country Meet.  Best of Luck Flomena and thank you for all your work!!!

Flomena is the daughter of Michael Lopoloi and Chepoyong Michael
