Bio

Luke Fay joined New Mexico Junior College as the Sports Information Director in July of 2022. Previously, he was the Marketing and Media Specialist at Dodge City Community College (DC3).

Luke was the school photographer at DC3, ran the college’s social media, and wrote releases along with feature length articles for DC3’s school magazine, The Conquistador.

Prior to DC3, Fay worked in athletics at Tallahassee Community College (TCC) from 2015-21, coinciding with his time as a student at Florida State University.

The Orlando, Fla. native was the lead broadcaster for basketball, baseball and softball and totaled more than 250 athletic events during his six seasons on-air for the Eagles. He also assisted with gameday operations and other athletics communications responsibilities such as game recaps, player bios and features stories for TCCeagles.com.

While enrolled at Florida State, Fay was involved in the student radio (V89.7 WVFS Tallahassee) from 2015-19, highlighted by his stint as Sports Director during the fall 2019 semester. Luke's duties included assigning coverage for FSU athletic events, hosting a weekly one-hour sports talk radio show (Tomahawk Talk), and managing social media accounts for both V89 Sports and Tomahawk Talk.

He also wrote for the FSU student newspaper, FSView, in the spring and fall of 2019. His assignments included feature stories on FSU student-athletes and game recaps of athletic events.

Fay is a graduate of Florida State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in Communication in 2019.

Hobbies: Fishing, ping pong, pool, and watching UCF football games.
