NMJC' Lee and Wells Qualify for Ranger Short Go

                  Ranger College was host for the second Spring 2018 SWR/NIRA Rodeo held in Sweetwater, TX, this past weekend.  Swaize Lee qualified for the short go in barrel racing and Matty Wells in breakaway roping.

                 Swaize Lee in barrel racing split 9^th/10^th in the long go with the time of 15.24 sec., and came back in the short go with blistering time of 14.85 sec. placing 3^rd , which allowed her to be third in the average with the time of 30.09 sec. on two runs.

                 Matty Wells in breakaway roping placed 6^th in the long go with the time of 2.4 sec. and came in 6^th in the short go with the time of 12.4 sec., which allowed her to place 6^th in the average with the time of 14.80 sec. on two calves.

                  NMJC's next SWR/NIRA Rodeo will be at Western Texas College Rodeo in Snyder, TX April 5-7, 2018.
