NMJC’s Austin Young makes it back to Texas Tech Rodeo Short Round

               Texas Tech was host for this past weekend's fifth NIRA/SWR for the Fall 2018 rodeo season. NMJC sophomore Austin Young was the only member of the NMJC Rodeo Team to make it back to the short go round in tie down roping last Saturday evening. Austin split seventh and eighth in the long go with the time of 9.7 sec., but had a NO Time in the short go taking him out of the average.

                The next NIRA/SWR Rodeo for the NMJC Rodeo Team will be at Odessa College, next year Spring 2019, February 21-23 in Ector County Coliseum.
