Rodeo Heads to Big Spring
The New Mexico Junior College men's and women's rodeo teams will compete in their fourth rodeo of the spring at the Howard College Rodeo in Big Spring, Texas on April 11-13. The events will take place in the Howard County Fairgrounds and admission is free.
The Thunderbird men's team got onto the board in the bronc riding with David Baker last week in Snyder, Texas. Baker finished sixth in average performance last Saturday. The Santa Rosa, NM native made the short round with a 75.5 ride and in the short round posted a 73 point ride to end up sixth in average.
