Lady T-Birds stumble on the road

The New Mexico Junior College women's basketball team fell 70-61 on the road to Northern Oklahoma College-Enid. The Lady T-Birds struggled on both the offensive and defensive end. NMJC head coach Drew Saunders called his team's performance an anomaly as they didn't hit shoots and they didn't guard anyone on the defensive end.

"It was a game Northern Oklahoma wanted more then our kids," said Saunders. "We deserved to lose. We have work to do as we play Tonkawa tomorrow."

NMJC falls to 8-2 on the season and plays Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa at 2 p.m. in back to back games.
