Event Winners: 2 (Esther Gitahi- Mile and Teresha Jacobs 3000M)

Notes: The #2 ranked T-Birds made great improvements at the Red and Black Open hosted by Texas Tech. 

The team managed to post 8 new performances that met the NJCAA Qualifying standard. In addition, 8 of the marks from last we were improved at this meet. Leading the way in new marks were the 400M group. All three young ladies that ran in the event qualified for nationals. Also preforming well were the event winners. Esther's winning time in the mile was an improved qualifier and Teresha's winning time in the 3000M was a new national qualifier.
