Jacobs Signs with Wayland Baptist University for 2018-19 Season!!
Teresha Jacobs signs with Wayland Baptist
Sophomore Distance Runner Teresha Jacobs has signed with NAIA powerhouse Wayland Baptist for the 2018-2019 school year.
Jacobs has competed in both Cross Country and Track for the T-Birds. She was a Cross Country Coaches Association All-American in 2016 for her 33rd place finish at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships. Jacobs's time of 18:19 for the 5k distance sets her as the 5th best ever at NMJC.
On the Track Jacobs helped NMJC to both the indoor and outdoor NJCAA National Champion team titles. She was an Indoor National Champion on the Distance Medley Relay and All-American 6th in the 4 x 800M relay. Outdoor she was All-American 5th place in the 1500M and All-American 3rd place in the 3000 M steeple Chase.
She is a member of the school record Distance medley relay team.
