2020 Week #2 - February 5th

Top 25 Teams

New Mexico JC remains at the top, and the Thunderbirds own the No. 1 mark in seven events, with the only change from last week being that they added the distance medley relay top ranking while their 4×400 dropped to No. 3. Still leading their events are Flomena Asekol (1000 and mile), Demisha Roswell (60 hurdles), Rushellee Jones (high jump), Victoria Villanueva (pole vault) and Susan Francis(long jump).

Making up ground, but still at No. 2 is Iowa Central CC. The Tritons have a national leader in Lea Grady (weight throw) and are No. 2 in four other events – shot put (Grady), mile/3000 (Eleonora Curtabbi) and 5000 (Florance Uwajeneza).

Barton (Kan.) CC is now at No. 3. The defending champs moved up from No. 4 last week. The Cougars are tops in three events with Fiona Richards in the shot put and a pair of events from this past weekend – Annia Ashley in the high jump and the 4 x 400 relay.

Falling to No. 4 is South Plains. The Texans, who were idle this weekend, still have national lead marks in the 60 (Rosemary Chukwuma) and triple jump (Onaara Obamuwagun).

Bryant & Stratton (Va.) completes the top-5 again. The Cougars have the nation's top-ranked team in the 4×800 relay.

Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 Cloud County (Kan.) CC, No. 7 Monroe-New Rochelle (N.Y.), No. 8 Iowa Western CC, No. 9 Butler (Kan.) CC and No. 10 Mesa (Ariz.) CC.
