Spasojevic named NMJC Female Athlete of the Month
Andrea Spasojevic a 5'11" outside hitter for the New Mexico Junior College volleyball team from Krusevac, Serbia has been making noise for the first year WJCAC program. Having only been on the NMJC campus since August 1st, Spasojevic is currently taking the NJCAA statistic leader board by storm with (305) kills which is 2nd in the nation; (367.5) points scored which is 2nd in the nation, (838) attacks which ranks 3rd nationally and (42) aces for a number 8 ranking nationally!
The leadership provided by Spasojevic has assisted the T-Birds in earning a 13-13 record overall and a 2-2 record in the WJCAC standings.
Andrea is the daughter of dad, Sasa Spasojevic and mom, Jasna Spasojevic. Andrea is an Associates of Arts and a Bachelors in Business major.
The New Mexico Junior College Thunderbird athletic department would like to recognize Andrea as the Athlete of the Month for September and congratulate her on a super start to the 2019 season!
