Kipserem Sets School Record at NJCAA Half Marathon

The NMJC Thunderbirds sent two runners to the NJCAA Half Marathon in Topeka, KS. Cynthia Kipserem and Sharon Jerono represented the T-Birds over the 13.1 mile course. Kipserem was the top finisher for the T-Birds crossing the line in 12^th place in a school record time of 1:29.21. Jerono was not far behind in 17^th Place with a time of 1:31.01. A total of 47 runners finished the race. With only 2 finishers the T-Birds were unable to score as a team (Must have 3 for a team).
