T-Birds Compete Well at Home, Finish Two in the Top 10

The NMJC Thunderbird Cross Country team continued the season this time running at home. The T-Birds added a fourth runner this meet as Monifa Green made her T-Bird debut. "Monifa ran great in her first race as a T-Bird" commented Coach Jeff Becker. Green finished 10^th place among a strong field of runners. Joining Green in the top 10 was Dune Costes (8^th Place). Also having a great individual performance was Alyssa Frausto. "Alyssa ran great dropping almost a minute off her time from last meet" added Becker.

NEXT UP: The T-Birds will be back in action on Saturday, October 6^th at the South Plains invitational in Levelland, TX.
