Three T-Birds Earn Coaches Association All-American

The NMJC Thunderbird Cross Country team finished its season at the NJCAA Championships held in Garden City, KS. 

Monifa Green (24^th Place), Dune Costes (26^th Place) and Montserret Rios (32^nd Place) all earned Coaches Association All-American honors (Top 40).  Also running well for the T-Birds was Alyssa Frausto (67^th Place). 

"All four young ladies ran very well" commented Coach Jeff Becker. "We got three in the Top 40 and Alyssa's performance was also outstanding, she has improved all year long".

"We will use this season as a building block for Track as well as for next Cross Country Season" concluded Becker

Up Next- Indoor Track and Field Meet- January 11^th at the Ted Nelson Invitational hosted by Texas A&M University.
