TUCKER SIGNS WITH JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY
NMJC sophomore Ben Tucker (Adelaide. Australia) will continue his collegiate golf career next season at James Madison University. Tucker, a transfer from Southeastern University made an immediate impact for the Tbirds this fall. After 6 events, he carded four top 10 finishes including a 2nd place finish at the Dr. Pepper Classic in Waco, TX. According to the latest Golfstat individual rankings, Tucker finished the fall ranked 18th in NJCAA Division 1 with a 72.9 scoring average.
According to coach James Berry, Tucker will fit right in at JMU, "Ben has a great attitude for golf, never gets to high or low during the round and always finds a way to finish strong. He's been very steady this fall with 5 top twenty finishes as a Thunderbird. I'm excited for Ben's opportunity on a competitive NCAA division 1 team, and I know he'll make an immediate impact for the Dukes."
