T-Bird (Rodeo) Starts Spring Season in Odessa

The NMJC men's and women's rodeo teams will compete in the first of five spring rodeos this week at the Odessa College Rodeo in Odessa, Texas Feb. 27-March 1.

The women's team is ranked No. 11 in the Southwest Region Standings and men are ranked No. 9. Holland Taylor-Roukema and Irvin Varela are still first in the Southwest Region Team Roping Standings at 260 points in the header/heeler rankings. The duo is 55 points clear of the nearest competitors.

The events will take place at the Ector County Coliseum. The rodeo will be streamed online on Cowboy Channel+. Click here to find the livestream link.

Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. CST and ticket prices are $8 for individuals and $3 for children.
