T-Bird (Rodeo) Competes at 3rd Spring Rodeo in Snyder

The NMJC men's and women's rodeo teams will compete in their third rodeo of the spring at the Western Texas College Rodeo in Snyder, Texas April 3-5. The events will take place in the Coliseum at Western Texas.

The men are coming off a week in Sweetwater where they sent David Baker to the Short Round in the Saddle Bronc. Baker would finish ninth in average. The T-Birds also had Tyler Espenson place third in average in the steer roping (two header) and Kelton Campbell finishing third in the one header of steer roping.

The women were led by Mia Box in the breakaway roping. Box finished third in average at the Ranger Rodeo bringing her total to 87.5 points for her performance.
